Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”), which set forth the legally binding terms and conditions between You (“You”) and LinePoint Academy (“LinePoint” or “We,” “Our,” or “Us”). These Terms govern your access to the Course contents and the use of LinePoint’s website, communication channels, and any other platform introduced by LinePoint (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

LinePoint Academy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. If You object to such changes, your sole recourse is to cease using the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes to these Terms constitutes your acknowledgment and agreement to be bound by the amended Terms.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

For the purposes of these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:

• “Account or Student Account”: An account created by the Learner on LinePoint’s Platform.
• “Course Contents”: All information and data (including text, images, videos, audio, and documents) available in the courses provided by LinePoint.
• “Course Fees”: The tuition or other fees payable by the Learner.
• “Event of Default”: As defined in Clause 12.
• “Party”: Refers to either the Learner or LinePoint individually.
• “Parties”: Refers to the Learner and LinePoint collectively.
• “Personal Data”: Any information about the Learner provided by You or collected through Your use of Our Platform, such as name, email address, payment information, and other relevant data.
• “Privacy Policy”: LinePoint’s policy outlining how personal data collected is used and processed, available on Our Platform.
• “Site”: LinePoint Academy’s official website.

1.2. Interpretations

1. The singular includes the plural and vice versa.
2. References to one gender include all genders.
3. Defined terms shall retain their meaning throughout these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

2.1. The Platform and Course Contents are offered subject to these Terms and all other rules, conditions, policies, and procedures that may be introduced by LinePoint from time to time.

2.2. Certain Course Contents may be subject to additional terms and conditions, incorporated by reference herein.

2.3. LinePoint reserves the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any Course Content or feature on the Platform without prior notice or liability.

3. Learner Account

3.1. To access Our Platform, You must create an Account, providing accurate and current information during the registration process.

3.2. Only individuals aged 18 or older may create an Account. LinePoint reserves the right to verify all accounts.

3.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your password and for all activities under Your Account. Notify Us immediately of any breach of security.

4. Notices and Communications

4.1. By creating an Account, You agree that:

• LinePoint may provide notifications electronically via email or on the Platform.
• Electronic notifications hold the same legal standing as paper notifications.

5. Learner’s Obligations

You agree to:

• Comply with all LinePoint policies and code of conduct.
• Pay all requisite fees upon admission acceptance.
• Participate actively in all assigned tasks and projects.
• Not copy, share, or distribute Course Content to unauthorized third parties.
• Notify LinePoint of any intent to withdraw or defer admission.
• Provide necessary resources for participating in the Course, such as laptops and internet access.

6. Course Fees and Payment

6.1. Course Fees are payable upon admission acceptance.

6.2. Payments are processed through third-party payment systems, and You agree to their applicable terms and policies.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. The Platform, Course Contents, and related materials remain the sole property of LinePoint.

7.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any materials provided on the Platform without prior authorization.

7.3. LinePoint grants You a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access the Platform for personal educational purposes only.

8. Changes to Course Contents

LinePoint may modify or update Course Contents at its discretion. Such changes will be communicated to enrolled Learners.

9. Scholarships and Promotions

9.1. LinePoint or its partners may offer scholarships or promotions, subject to terms specified at the time of the offer.

9.2. Unused promotions may expire as per their stated terms.

10. Usage of Content Submitted by Learners

10.1. Content submitted by Learners, such as feedback or project work, may be used by LinePoint for promotional or educational purposes.

10.2. By submitting content, You grant LinePoint a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use and distribute the content as needed.

11. Interactive Sessions

11.1. During live sessions, You may not:

• Disrupt or interfere with Platform activities.
• Share unauthorized information.

12. Event of Default

12.1. Default occurs when:

• You fail to pay fees as due.
• You repeatedly fail to participate in required activities.
• You violate the Code of Conduct.

12.2. In case of Default, LinePoint may suspend or terminate Your access to the Platform and seek remedies as allowed by law.

13. Termination

13.1. LinePoint reserves the right to terminate accounts for breaches of these Terms or at its discretion.

13.2. Upon termination, You lose access to the Platform and its contents.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Parties.

14.2. Any disputes will be resolved under the governing laws of the federal republic of Nigeria.
